SmartNVR, SmartVMS, and SmartFlow use the NexVDO SDK to connect on-site inference with cloud video management and people-flow analytics.
City cameras and roadside sensors can generate large volumes of footage. As more streams move to 4K and beyond, a control-room team cannot watch every feed or manually review every event.
YUAN's architecture processes footage near the camera. NVIDIA Jetson systems run models in roadside cabinets, while the cloud receives selected events and supporting footage instead of every raw stream. Detection time and accuracy depend on the cameras, models, thresholds, compute, network, and site validation.
The ecosystem
Edge recording and inference
SmartNVR uses the NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin-based VPP6N0 AGX with up to 275 TOPS. It records and analyzes camera streams on site and can flag configured events such as possible traffic violations or signs of disaster for operator review.
Cloud video management
SmartVMS collects events and streams from SmartNVR systems in centralized dashboards. Operators can use live monitoring, map integration, and multi-site management across districts.
People analytics
SmartFlow estimates movement through stations, streets, and venues. It can produce counts, flow patterns, and crowd indicators for planner review, subject to camera placement and model validation.
The common foundation
The NexVDO SDK supports SmartAPPs and AI video modules at the edge as well as management in the cloud. One toolkit covers capture, recording, streaming, and analysis from the camera to the dashboard.
