QDEEP automates mine-car filling.

The QDEEP SDK detects mine cars, segments material, reads car numbers, records video, and sends results to PLC controls.

QDEEP automates mine-car filling.

Challenge

Mine-car filling may operate continuously in dust and noise. Manual operation requires a worker to monitor each car and adjust the hopper at the filling point.

Solution

The QDEEP SDK provides mine-car detection, material segmentation, car-number recognition, and video recording. Detection results are sent to PLC controls for the mine car and material hopper to automate the filling sequence.

Key benefits

The system is intended to reduce manual work at the chute, control the fill amount, and retain video records for review. A production deployment still requires site-specific validation, PLC safety interlocks, operator override procedures, and testing under the mine's lighting and dust conditions.
