QDEEP combines vessel tracking with AIS data.

YUAN's port workflow combines video detection, automatic PTZ tracking, trajectory recording, and AIS vessel identity data.

QDEEP combines vessel tracking with AIS data.

Challenge

Ports may use camera feeds, radar, and AIS data to monitor arrivals and departures. Manual camera operation adds work when teams need to follow several vessels at once.

Solution

The QDEEP SDK detects vessels in surveillance video and records their trajectories. Automatic PTZ control follows a selected vessel. AIS supplies the vessel name, number, heading, and speed so the system can associate an identified record with the video track.

Key benefits

Automation can reduce repeated camera-control and track-labeling tasks. Operators remain responsible for reviewing tracks and handling exceptions. Accuracy depends on camera coverage, weather, vessel visibility, AIS availability, and the validated model configuration.
