Professional video transport and streaming protocols
NexVDO Stream provides RTSP, RTMP, SRT, TS, HLS, and WebRTC support for live and on-demand video workflows. Protocol choice depends on latency, reliability, firewall, player, and distribution requirements.
RTMP and SRT can push live media to a server, while HLS distributes HTTP-based segments to compatible clients. The SDK includes QoS-related encoding controls; teams should validate latency, recovery, and picture quality on the target network.
ONVIF defines discovery, configuration, control, and media interfaces for network-video products. NexVDO SDK includes ONVIF support and YUAN reports certification by the ONVIF organization. Interoperability should still be tested with the specific cameras and video-management systems in the project.
SIP supports session setup for voice and video communications, while WebRTC provides browser-based real-time media. NexVDO SDK exposes both for conferencing and online-learning integrations, subject to the selected signaling, identity, firewall, and media architecture.
Broadcast workflows can use MPEG-2 TS or MPTS plus full NDI or NDI HX. NDI options support video transport over a 1G network, with bandwidth and quality determined by the chosen mode, resolution, frame rate, and number of streams.
SkyLink X is YUAN's transport option for low-latency remote video. YUAN reports latency below a few milliseconds under stable-bandwidth test conditions. A remote medical or robotic system must validate the complete camera, encoder, network, decoder, display, control, and safety path; this component claim does not establish clinical suitability.
